When the American Carp society gets together for their annual meeting, how many lawn chairs are required?

there are more carp anglers in the US than Muskie anglers...but to be fair way more places to land a carp than a Muskie

and a few famous faces might be in the crowd.....;) an a soon to be televised big name bass angler doing a little euro carping....

Can't find the pics but  Al Linder & Mike Iaconelli chase a few big carp..and release them too :P

You need those fancy carp fishing chairs with the rod holders with the blinky lights and alarm to wake you up when you get a bite. A bag of some of MoCarp's carp bait to snack on when awake.. A relaxing fishing experience unlike the guys casting and working a lure or fly. Mitch if you decide to sign up I am sure Snagged will be right behind you in line :) . Heck if you all join I may too,

PS you may have to sell your boat because they make waves and decimate the shoreline. Wind, power generation and floods are ok.

Do the fancy chairs come with a built in beer holder or ice chest?  I can see me sitring.there in an anti gravity lpunger, with a drinking tube connected to some ice cold beer in a cooler.  Might need a really loud alarm to wake me.  Could I possible get one with wi-fi and a small tv screen too.

I think you need to keep those items in the sun shade carp fishing tents MoCarp showed us in his cut and paste picture tutorial . I think he can answer your question. Remember carp have been here for over 140 years, wonder what they used 140 years ago. A tree stump for a chair and a tree for shade? Forty -six years ago I used to just sit on the river bank if it was dry and if wet a five gallon bucket. worms dug with a potato fork.

Last activity they mention in the 'about us' is IGFA hair rig approval. Jan-Feb 2007?

in the UK in some of the HIGHLY pressured waters the fish become extremely educated, it takes a pretty savvy angler to land some of the infamous fish like the Parrot that was 1st stocked in Cranwells Lake, UK in 97 at 12 pounds, the fish is now 68-1 the UK record... last time it was caught was in may of 2016 by Dean Fletcher a local a greengrocer...sometime angler will wait days or even weeks for a single bite...weather in Europe is pretty rainy and cold mostly so gear or Kit as they say evolved just like our trout or bass gear has here
