I drifted  a few flies to some of those fish yesterday. Had one taker and missed getting the hook up. I guess i'm getting slow in my old age.

I learned to fish on the Roubidoux. I caught my biggest smallmouth a little ways above the bridge at Plato. There aren't a bunch of big ones up there. Havent caught any big ones up there in quite a few years. Don't catch near as many goggleye there as I used to either.

Sloth, I was actually talking about the lower portion downstream of Waynesville.    The Ruby looses her water much above that for a ways.
