Carp Recipes ?

Ok what are some good Carp Recipes other than Canning?

Well I like them scored and fried like a sucker if not too big.  Bigger ones usually got baked like a trout, butter, onion and orange/lemon, wrapped up in foil.  Rich and sticky meat, loved it.  Also he taken the big fillets and smoked them, seasoned with whatever spices you like.  Always said carp were better than trout if fixed exactly the same way.

     One Shot I would suggest you ask our resident carpoligist MoCarp this question. I am pretty sure he has possibly written a book on this. Maybe you two can share a hunt and if the big ones don't bite you can always eat the carp bait he makes. Either way i don't think you guys will go hungry .

Christmas carp is a tradition in eastern European ...woops "eurasian countries" like Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, many others

they have a problem with eastern block angler sneaking out fish at syndicates in the UK, considering that lake owners spend tens of thousands on fish, they get pretty salty when they find out fish are slipping out in the night....if you see a brit ask him what he thinks of eastern block anglers and otters!

many lake owners have microchipped fish to help with prosecutions......
