A Hobby Lobby Find ...

Was at Hobby Lobby in Jefferson City and happen to see this nice drawing of a moose.  I thought it would go well in the house.  The signature....  Al Agnew.

Why is the plural of Mouse "mice", and the plural of Moose "moose's"?

Or is it?  Actually I think it's 400 Moose.

So when you say "a drawing of a moose" do you mean 1 moose?   And when you say "a drawing of moose" then that means multiple moose(s)?

We say 15 deer, but we don't say 15 pig, or 15 horse.  WTF?   15 elk, and 15 carabou, 15 quail....but not 15 goose.
