JestersHK
Any info on where it was caught at? I don't have a FB account, but saw the article on Phil's FB feed that I check for Onecast. Beautiful fish and looks like they took pictures from Phil's dock.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 29, 2018 Root Admin Share Posted January 29, 2018 I posted it as an article but didn't show up on the LT forum. I have no details... they took it to Cooper Creek. May be that's where they were staying.
JestersHK
Cool, Shame it didn't make it back in the water, but what a nice catch! Ozarks Chillbilly and cracklebak
Members griffenj
Glad this guy caught a great fish but there was no reason to kill it just to hang it on the wall. Take measurements and get a replica made. This fish deserved to be caught again. Unfortunately there is too much of trout park mentality around. Brown trout make up such a small population that they should be protected. Also, bota grips should be band. Sorry for the rant but I have strong feelings on this. Boga grips versus trout was discussed some months ago. I concede they do not seem to do well with trout, but for other species (bass, walleye, white bass, stripers, wipers) they are invaluable. Banning would be inappropriate. Quillback
Seth
Boga's are great for fish that don't have soft mouths like a trout. They really work well for catfish.
