Started out from Scotty's heading down stream, a couple guys waved me down in front of the landing, than god they did.  They had just hit the Zipline cable that was laying down over the lake.   So i stuck around there for a while until they got it back up in the air.  I was in the middle ready to flag people down to stop.   They got it back in the air, hope they inspect that cable after a boat hit it before they send people down it again.   I ended up going upstream and catching 9 by the narrows on some jigs in a couple hours.   Only used brown and white jig, lost or missed at least 15. Water temp upstream was 47

Dang... Good to hear you got out fishing.  That's crazy about the Zipline as myself and my girls have probably ridden that about 50 time... Scary, wonder what the story is on it?

Not sure but one of my jon boats ran into it.  If it was higher, they would have been clothes - lined.

Saw that from the Landing side. They had a couple people on the docks trying to wave people down. Who do they think would notice from all the way across the lake. They told me that they were replacing the cable, and it slipped. Not supposed to do that. Hope they learned, and have a safety boat on the lake next time.

Saw the Lilley's boat hit the cable, and take a big jump sideways. Thankfully the people in it were OK.

I saw you over there helping to warn boaters. On our side it wasn't out in the lake as far, and protected by the docks. So we moved on.

I guess they had already got the cable issue resolved by the time we made it down there. We got down between 1-2pm and worked our way down past the Landing shortly after. Every time I go under those cables, I think of whether I could trim up the Etec and hit them with some jet spray. ^_^
