Anyone catch the news of this multi vehicle crash on I-44 right where the highway crosses the Niangua?  Craziness, I didn't think there was much snow that fell but I guess some spots got more than others.

You have to have facebook to see this I think:

That's quite a pile-up.

It did seem like a slimier than normal snow.  Area's that just looked "slightly dusted" were like greased marble.

It seemed when the snow was driven on it turned straight to ice. I drove the car to the grocery just as the snow got started, shopped about a half hour and like to never got back home. Traffic on 54 moving 5 - 10 mph and cars and semis stuck on every hill. When I got on the side road another accident blocking the road in to our area, I ended up having to park and walk in the last mile carrying our Super Bowl food and refreshments. It must on caught the DOT by complete surprise as there were zero preparations made.

They just said on the news there where 100 vehicles involved in that accident..

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

Drove that stretch a few times in some nasty weather...  Is it just me or does it always seem like that side of the highway is always a mess while the opposite lanes look pretty clear and in much better shape... Wonder why that is?

Just got here my wife worked one twice that Bad East of Lebanon. Springfield New just went to the easiest one to get to.

What was bad where my wife was some Guys were shooting at people trying to help them. Like my wife said didn't have time to mess with them, just let them be.
