oneshot Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 If a person is over 65 do they need Fishing License in other states? Ok Arkansas and Louisiana. And what about the gulf? oneshot
kjackson Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 It depends upon the state, but generally, the answer is "yes." Missouri is the first state I've lived in where being older than dirt (and a resident) means you don't need a license.
oneshot Posted March 8, 2018 Author Posted March 8, 2018 I was just looking at Arkansas and Louisiana and it seems both states I need one but like most states I can get a 3 Day Permit pretty reasonable. I use to do this years ago. oneshot Johnsfolly 1

Gavin Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Many states & countries offer, daily, 3 day, weekly licences as opposed to annual. Canada offers a conservation license at half price, to a full limit license. You get 1/2 the limit if you want to eat fish while there but half the price. You won't go hungry on a half limit.

Most states are pretty reasonable. Right now I have three states covered. Will likely get a license in one or two more throughout the year.
Ham Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I always have annual in 3 states. Louisiana (lifetime), Arkansas, and Missouri . I may add Oklahoma to that annual mix and then go 3-7 day in other states. I’ve simply got to get going on catching a fish in all 50 states. grizwilson and mixermarkb 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

We're thinking on a trip through Arkansas and into Louisiana. A yes to Oklahoma. oneshot
