Dutch Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I am kind of a gadget guy both boat and truck. I have a 2018 F250 with the adjustable blind spot. It works great when I am pulling my 5th wheel. I have it set for 13' behind the 30' trailer. It really makes it nice to know when I can safely pull out to pass. The back up camera is so much nicer than the one I had in my Chevy and the bed camera is great when I am hooking up my 5th wheel. It allows me to perfectly align the king pin to the hitch. snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr and Gavin 3
Quillback Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Nice looking truck Dutch. I have a 2010 F-150, I am hoping I can get another 5 years out of it, new truck prices scare me. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I buy em new and drive them into the ground. Last yukon Denali was 12 years old and 250000 miles. It was nickel and diming me to death at the end so I got a new 2013 ram. It has 93k on it now Daryk Campbell Sr and Basfis 2

You should move closer to where you like to spend your time. I don't understand people that always have to be traveling back and forth across the state. If there's nothing to do within an hour of where they live then why on earth do they live there? My daughter will travel 3 hours+ to buy a pair of shoes. 🛵
176champion Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I put over 50,000 miles in one year on my ranger and never went further than 40 miles in any direction. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips

Gainful employment that's why. I only work 18 minutes from home. I just have to travel to fish. that's why I boat a jet boat to fish closer to home.

I had a guy give me one and it really didn't save me any steps. If it's on flat ground you can just get real close and pull/push the boat trailer the rest of the way. It’s uphill to my shop and of course the shop is flat . Camera works perfectly snagged in outlet 3 1

Camera works perfectly Everything is on a slant here at my place. I actually am looking at buying a wonderful piece of level property within a half mile of here, but I just don't know if I want to bite it off. Excellent deal, but I've been all paid off with no mortgage for 6 years now.....and man that sure is nice. Thinking I can deal with slanted badminton for a little while longer.
Seth Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I bought my "nused" 2011 Silverado last July and have put 17k miles on it already. Work is only 20 minutes from the house so I don't put many miles on it for work. Those Taneycomo and LoZ trips add up in a hurry!
fishinwrench Posted May 14, 2018 Author Posted May 14, 2018 I once worked as a delivery driver, moving foil, cups, plastic wrap and foam meat trays to grocery stores. Logged between 400-600 miles every stinking day, 6 days a week, then had a 45 minute drive to and from home every day. That crap burnt me out big-time. Before that I used to love driving. I have 2 friends that are retired from UPS and they hate driving even more than I do. Big truck drivers snort when I say that, but they get to just kick back and watch the miles go by at 70 on the Interstate. Huge difference.
