memorial day walleye

Have fished a few times over the last month.  Been catching 5 to 8 walleye per trip. Went today wife and I had 11 walleye with 10 being keepers. Kept 5 for the fryer.   Biggest 22 inches. Bottom bouncing and crawler harnesses. 15Ft of water.  Water temp around 80.  Caught several keeper bass also. Wife caught a nice small mouth.

Great job lmt out! I made short trips Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week. Wasn't as successful as you all were. Did catch a couple of eyes and quite a few crappie and bass.

Of course the walleye bite would be turning on and the Holiday traffic has now diminished.

That's why I've been called to jury duty!  

My luck is hard...so very hard!!!

Sounds like a good trip LMT out. I’m the guy you talked to below truman earlier this year. We left the head lights on my buddies suburban. I caught a cpl Friday night my cousin and I caught a limit each Saturday morning.  We finished out with a cpl more Sunday and Monday morning. We caught 15 total all weekend bouncing crawlers made for a good first trip for the year for us.

That is a good first trip down.  Glad you had a good one.  I really love Stockton lake. I wish I lived closer. Welcome to the site.

I’d have been out sooner but my dad got hurt at work so I’ve been behind with him down. On top of all that I sold my pop up camper and bought a new larger camper and had to get all that situated. Got a few more loose ends to tie up with the new camper this weekend. So I hope to be back on the water more after this weekend. I live south of KC but down about every weekend I camp at the end of RB road.
