Painting jerkbaits for big trout

Caught some nice bows this morning on both the sculpin flavored and rainbow flavored baits.

Been trying to get the next batch of sculpin flavored done for over a week now.  They should be ready to fish tomorrow.

That last one judging by his mouth looks like a pretty solid fish! Looking good buddy!  9 more days... And I'll be back to chasing them LOL.  Have a full weekend this time, so gonna try to wear them out!

Seeing all the nice browns being posted on Facebook really has me itching to get down there this weekend! I've got to play guide and put some people on some rainbows so we have some fish to eat for Saturday evening, but otherwise I intend to chase browns the entire time. My 20" curse needs to end this weekend!

Duane great looking sculpin. Would still love a little blue-green on the chin. By the time I might get down to Taney (maybe mid-Oct or early Dec) those fish will have been soremouthed by your baits I may have to find a new pattern 😌.

You just can’t see it in the picture, they have a pearlescent blue hue under the chin just for you.

Awesome!  I'll shoot ya a PM with my cell.  So far I'll be flying solo this trip, always prefer to buddy up at night though LOL.
