That used to be a “go to” bait for me.   I don’t know why I quit using it.  I don’t largemouth fish much anymore but I did stop using it.   I have bags of them in the basement I think.   Same with the French🤷‍♂️

As a bank fisherman, I prefer a T-rigged plastic than a carolina rig. Not sure why but I always preferred worms to lizards. I also enjoyed the Banjo minnow for a while when I lived in FL.

I bought the Banjo Minnow the minute I saw it.  Caught lots of fish on it until the sluggo and fluke came out.  I think it was prior to them??   I fished Larry the Lizard T rigged too.

Sluggos were definitely before the Banjo. I fished them a lot as well. The Banjos had great action, but were more costly and they just didn't hold up to many fish. So I stopped using them. Once I fixated upon the fluke (baby bass😉), I hardly went back to the sluggo. I still use the fluke for most of my creek and small river bass fishing thouhg I don't do that as much any more. I don't even use the super fluke that much either.

I'm not, however, a fan of SKULLS, and it blows me away that you can't go anywhere without seeing them plastered on EVERYTHING. 

Cars, Trucks, motorcycles, boats, guitar cases, ect. The most popular screen saver loaded on PC's and cell phones is.... you guessed it....a Skull. Plus, every dude that is into body-ink has a skull somewhere among his permanent collection of body art.  It is the first thing that a tattoo artist learns to draw.

Maybe YOU can tell me......What exactly is the significance, or allure of parading a dead and rotting human head on everything you own ?     I just don't get it.  What does this mean ?

The skull and crossbones is a common pirate theme.  Swap out the cross bones for crossing paddles and add a booney hat and you have a River Pirate theme.  It's just a fad which is why I have it as a vinyl sticker on a kayak and not a permanent tattoo on myself.  What do you think about the Zombie Hunting Permit?  Another fad that has faded fast.

Yeah it means "Poison" (this $#!t can kill you).   

So that's the message all these people are sending out?    Personally I'm so tired of seeing it that I might start slapping them upside the head and calling their bluff   😁
