So much matshy water around us that needs to be fished from a boat.

The best thing that we did was a test drive, that made a huge impact on our decision. The brands with a reverse chine hull make a big difference in stablity. Johnsfolly 1
liphunter Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Good for you Dan!!! I have considered it myself. But even though I am in good health. I'm not sure at 61 how much I would enjoy dragging one over hill and hollow. But I think it would be fun to fish that way. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???

I am hoping to use it for some winter walleye jerk bait fishing ! I still have my old boat. I do not owe money on any of my play things so that makes it a happy experience for me.

Gavin Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Gore Tex chest waders, and a quality gore tax rain jacket are what you want for winter paddling. Buy a bit big so you can layer up under. dan hufferd 1
