dan hufferd Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 It has been a while since the boat and I have been out together. I decided to go for crappie, I got on the water about 7am got off around 5pm, it was getting windy by then. I ended up taking 7 crappie home, depth 35ft. The big bass was 5lb 13oz, I caught it in 25 ft of water on a flat near a channel with the others, I could see it on the graph, I was hoping for a walleye. It was nice to get out. Bonus...I ran into Mike Holland and his wife. I love their new boat ! This post has been promoted to an article BilletHead, Daryk Campbell Sr, liphunter and 4 others 7

I didn't mean to mislead. A bass fishermen cruised by he said that it was slow, l said man you should throw a spoon, he said no way, so I thought, I might try my own advice it worked. I went back to crappie. Johnsfolly 1
MrGiggles Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Thanks for the report. I've been itching bad to get out, it's tough to find the time with these short days. Gotta be wheels up and gone by 2:30 PM or it's not even worth going. Saw a report over on Crappie.com, they've been catching crappie shallow, seems like they're still all over the place. -Austin
waterpossum Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Dan, some great pictures, congratulations. Once the water cools off the fish just seem to look better. dan hufferd 1

The fish became scattered and higher in the water. The morning bite at 35+ feet was easier for me, they were grouped up nice. I tend to go for the deep bite anyway. Good luck out there, and thanks Daryk Campbell Sr and Johnsfolly 1 1

Played with the kicker and trolled crankbaits. Only one white bass to show for it. Was a great day to be on Stockton, came home to 3-4" of snow on the ground. WM Daryk Campbell Sr 1
