Lvn2Fish
Slid the boat in at mutton creek at approx 7:00am. The lake was slick calm with water temp hovering around 47. Started catching on the first stop with two nice keepers. For the first half of the day the bite was pretty solid. I caught six in an row off one little rocky transition, they were smashing the jerkbait . There really wasn’t a solid pattern that I found . Mostly just fishing transition banks , and whatever else looked fishy. Caught a total of 20 shorts and 8 keepers . One nice walleye. One bass was a solid 3.5 . All on the jerkbait. Certain colors were better than others today .Water temp was up to 50 degrees when I pulled out . Looks like the stickbait bite is here for winter ! Water clarity was about 3-4 ft . Got a little more stain up the river. This post has been promoted to an article Rootman, liphunter, Johnsfolly and 1 other 2

Ham
Fantastic report. I’d love to find a solid bite and fish one thing. The fault might be with me though, I always want to be throwing 3 or 4 things at once. I love a good jerk bait bite. Good for you man! 5bites
Can anybody launch at mutton creek north or south? I was thinking a few years ago they made the south ramp campers only.

Steve McBasser
I launch at both all the time without any problems. The north ramp is better during really cold weather because it thaws out faster..... Ham
5bites
Thanks guys. After I heard about the campers only thing a few years ago I just quit launching there.
Dutch
The only campers ramp that I know about is at Cedar Ridge. That one is inside the Corps campground. The one at Mutton Creek is inside the campground but it is leased to the Mutton Creek dock not run by the Corps. dan hufferd
