Kudos again to the MDC

Thanks to the local MDC employees!

I found a piece of machinery left sitting in a creek leaking hydraulic fluid.  Called MDC and they told me that it needed to be reported to DNR (didn't offer to forward the info, but did give me a number to call). 

DNR pounced on it immediately, located the owner of the machinery, determined that he was unlicensed, investigated who he had been selling gravel to and prohibited them all from ever purchasing gravel from the guy again, and possibly/probably hit him with a healthy fine.

 Did you happen to read where it was also the DNR that came in to clean it up? With the help of the EPA?

So why are we (you) giving Kudo's to MDC and not the DNR ?

That was my off handed point.

 Well because he was out on the weekend working instead of sitting in his office or driving around in a fancy truck never getting his feet dirty like you're always proclaiming.

Right on.  Well I did the same thing that the agent did for FREE, and MDC never even thanked me. And darn sure never wrote a post about it.  

DNR did thank me, more than once, for reporting it, and called me personally after it was all resolved to inform me of the actions they took.  Which was gratifying and indicated that they truly cared.

 So you have spent years publicly condemning the agency with factless  conspiracies and now you're crying that they didn't say thank you. 

My ribs are hurting from laughing so hard. 

 And kudos to you for taking a post that shows the hard work and dedication from the agency to protect our environment and make yourself a victim.
