doodles are still getting them

took advantage of being able to get out today and fish before the deep freeze hits again tonight.  we fished the doodle all day.  water temp was a bit over 43, but the bass still were about the same depth 10 to 20 ft.  ended up with 7 keeps.  4 lmg's and 3 k's.  caught a dozen or so shorts, so not a bad day for this time of the year.

Ive always been a fan of that color for a ned, its actually the only other color I carry besides PB&J

crawdads this time of the year are greenpumpkin with patches of orange.  pretty good reason to stick one one and throw it.

What color is that?  I use orange and green  before any ned color.  But none have been that bright.

I think it depends on the pack of bait you get, Ive had that color vary in brightness with different packs
