I know there is a wallie fisherman or two on here and looking through the channel guide today I see that the Jarrett Edwards fishing show is about the Slow Death rig, that's all the description has, but I have watched his show before and he does a good job and always walks though how he has things rigged.

I think it starts at 1030 AM (Sportsman channel), and I'm sure there will be reruns.

"Slow Death Rig"?

Sounds more like me every time I pull the Ranger away from the dock......

I'm not a walleye guy but it was a lot more interesting than that thing which was filmed on Stockton.

Thanks Quillback for sharing this info. Give this old retired guy something to watch up here in Smithville where it is a balmy -4 degrees!!

Heck, I didn't realize it was that much warmer a mere thirty miles to the northeast! 😏

Around 400 this morning my weather station had it at -7 with a windchill of -21 which made it pretty easy to go directly back to bed.

Showing 0 and 0 at the moment so things are looking up!

Man, I hate winter.......

Jut watched it.  The guide sure seemed to be amped up, talking a mile a minute, he had good info but it came at you pretty fast.

Surprised to see Cherry Creek is such a good walleye lake, it is right on the outskirts of Denver.  Not much else close by, it has to get hammered.

Yea, i didnt think it was too bad. He was using that slow death rig hook on basically  a carolina rig. He wasnt too high on the 1 oz 2 oz bottom bouncers we use. Too much for them to see he claims. But he was also fishing in 5 ft of water!! I found it entertaining and knowledgeable.
