Champ188 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Another option is the Wart-like blank from Predator. I have a friend who custom paints baits in Rogers and he's given me several of these to try. They will flat-out catch fish.
Sore Thumbs Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Old warts have a single ball bearing. Sounds like lead cuz it’s a soft knock. The bill will say Wiggle Wart on the old ones and Storm on the new.
Sore Thumbs Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Can a bill with a chip in it be fixed? I have an old wiggle Wart that is a fish catching machine. It needs a little love though. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance If you have an old sacrificial Wart you can take some 80 grit paper and make a pile of dust, then mix the dust with some 2-ton epoxy to make a paste and fill in the missing area. abkeenan, Sore Thumbs and Hunter53 3
Longball22 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 When I lived in California and surfed, we used a product called Solarez to repair surfboard dings. It is tough stuff, and while I haven't tried it on baits, I would be willing to bet it would work. I would work it into a ding, overpour, and cover it with packaging tape to make it smooth, then sit it in the sun. https://www.amazon.com/Solarez-Cure-Surfboard-Repair-Travel/dp/B00S3MYW8S/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=solarez&qid=1549780578&s=gateway&sr=8-7 They even make fly cements, which the "thick" formula might be good for this application: https://www.amazon.com/Solarez-Fly-Tie-UV-Resin/dp/B00FL067UG/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=solarez&qid=1549780578&s=gateway&sr=8-8
