Dock-in-it Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 One of the most impressive performances in this event was accomplished by Dustin Lippe. He weighed in several big fish. After his great finishes in two recent tournaments and being a dominant player in the big bass event.....he makes it look easy. nomolites 1
Ketchup Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Anyone here in the top 10? TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Members stealthycat Posted April 8, 2019 Members Posted April 8, 2019 we hammered the fish on THU/FRI .... Sat night as much, yesterday was tough. Several in and around 3# but nothing we could have won $$ on no idea where the big fish were on Thursday we must have caught 50 Kentucky bass, and THu/FRI our top 5 would have went 12-13 pounds I imagine ... several in the 15-17" range, fat hefty fish anybody know what the big fish bite was? we went into Kings Fri/Sat and the numbers were there, just not big, Sunday we were in Big Indian, too much shad kill IMO liphunter 1
eyedabassman Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 If I had to guess, I would think alot of the big fish came on the A -Rig. Main lake points, bluff walls and ends. Just my 2 cents!

Just my 2 cents! This is the exact pattern we ran all weekend assuming that would be the ticket. Let me tell you 5-6 fish a day and 2 keepers over 3 days is rough when your slinging the arig......If I was smart I would have bailed Saturday and started chasing crappie or whites.
Members stealthycat Posted April 8, 2019 Members Posted April 8, 2019 A-rigs I saw being thrown, but the jerk baits a LOT There were people everywhere - bluff's, shallow flats, timber, points, .... boat docks didn't seem to be getting a lot of attention I wonder if the main lake pockets wasn't where some of the bigger fish came from ?

Codywskeeter1521 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Fished sat and Sunday. Had a absolute blast. Caught tons of fish. But I was also one that couldn't find the big fish. But congrats to everyone who cashed a check and to Mike Southerland. Alot of boats out and about this weekend but the true class and sportsmen ship was on full display. Everyone I met and seen was very respectful and nice.

I thought that was a bit too much considering not another boat in seeing distance Codywskeeter1521 1
