215 to Taylor

Buddy and I floated 215 to Taylor yesterday afternoon. We didn't catch any fish in the 215 hole but we missed a couple and caught 3 out of the next hole below the riffle. There was never more than 1 or 2 fish in a spot until we got to the s curves. My buddy caught 6 in about 10 casts at 1 spot in the s curves. Caught a few more right before dark below the s curves. Finished the day with 35 between us.

Cold fronts often cause them to turn and head back down stream.  I have been on them down at Beaver Creek have a cold front come through and they would completely leave the creek.

Never needed a cold front for them to be gone when I get there.   Fake news!!  White bass vile critters.  I call collusion on their part.

In my experience usually once they get above Taylor it takes a major cold front to move them back towards the lake. I think that since it's supposed to go right back to being warm this week the fishing will continue being great. I'm headed back over Wednesday after to work to give it a try!

Always wanted to float from 215 to taylor or to the steel bridge.  How long a float would that be?

It's a pretty short float, depending on how hard you fish it. It took us about 4 hours the other night, but that was fishing it pretty slowly. I would say 6 or 7 eddies between 215 and Taylor and then just another 3 eddies between Taylor and the steel bridge.

If you do decide to float from 215 and you park on the east side of the bridge to unload your canoe/kayak/jon boat please do not block the driveway to that house. Please do not throw or drop any trash. The people in that house have been kind enough to allow people to fish there at 215 but that may not be the case for much longer. I talked to the homeowner and she had to put a lock on the gate because people would push it open and park their vehicles in her yard. THIS IS NOT OKAY! People like this are why there are no trespassing signs ALL OVER the banks of the little sac now. It did not used to be the case. Please have some respect for the gracious landowners that allow us to use their accesses to chase whites. They do not have to do this!
