bferg Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Made it over to the rock yesterday morning. First time in a long time I wasn’t first to the ramp! I’m slipping up! On the water at 6:40. Dense fog- it was soupy! Expected a ton of boats due to the big bass deal and there was more than average traffic but not too bad. We did some catching but honestly expected better. Our best pattern was flukes and spooks in buck brush on the main lake point or the front 1/3 of Creek arms. Caught most of our fish in less than 5 feet of water- a couple came in 15 feet or so in pockets and secondary points. Absolutey no love for the Rk! That was a let down. At about 9:45 the fog burned off, the sun was high, and the wind was non-existent. So was the bite! WT was 52ish when we launched and 54ish when we put it on the trailer at noon. Even though we didn’t catch as many as I wanted anytime you get a little toad of a smallie and a large mouth pushing 4lbs to absolutey destroy a spook in 1 foot of water you can’t really complain! Haven't bothered the pets at the golf course yet, but may try this week. Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 2
Bill Babler Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Please refrain from fishing that runnout that you caught the smalljaw on. That location has to have a daily permit and is extremely secrete.😂 m&m and Champ188 1 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

(Because I only have 2 spots to fish!). But there isn’t much of a need to fire up the motor at big M. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
