merc1997 Bo Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 debated and debated about going last night. wind still a hurricane. cold front. just a nasty night to be out fishing. well, this is april and the moon was up. i went fishing. fooled the bass too. they did not think any idiot would be out. so, they were out and biting. most came on the 1/2 GrassJig in brown and blue with blue trailer. one of the good ones came on the old 1/2 Elite Black Widow and caught a few others on it too. i was right about the cold front and it had moved the good ones off the flat stuff. the more sheer the better. most bites were anywhere from 6 feet to 18. had some 3's and some chunk keeps. very few kentuckies and most of them came on the Black Widow. bo crazy4fishin, magicwormman, Daryk Campbell Sr and 14 others 17

Members Randy Moore Posted April 12, 2019 Members Posted April 12, 2019 nice fish - good call to brave the wind. We were out on Wednesday and found a few fish on the ned's rig on bluffs - with no wind we have caught some nice smallies on the flats on a variety of baits with a smoky grub on a jig head being the best. merc1997 Bo and Quillback 2
bferg Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Can’t catch ‘em at home! Way to get out there! I love seeing your night fishing reports. Just curious: what times do you usually fish? Is there a ideal time of night?

Heck, I've made to almost 1000 at least three times just since 2014 alone! Or was it 900? Is this Tuesday?
