Maybe call the Shepherd of the Hills hatchery and see if they know?  Most state record fish from TR are taken there for official verification.

If it doesn’t get caught out of Bull Shoals first...

Need to figure out how to get our baits down through the sunken forests, through the decades of tangled remains of old lines, and then back up under the ledges that go way back  into the bluffs.

Divers who dare to venture into the abyss of entanglements have some very interesting stories of 7+lb brownies

Their was some really nice SM weighed in the big bass tour, I was fortunate to weigh one in a little over 4 lb's. Pretty sure a 6 was the biggest weighed in. Definitely a state record swimming around in the rock, bull, and Stockton where the current record was caught....

I don't care about an Arkansas record all that much but, LOVE Bull Shoals

Plenty of water in Missouri on Bull Shoals with smallmouth in it. Ask 24/7, the smallies get caught farther and farther up the Theodosia arm every year. Old Missouri record was from Bull, new one could easily come from there as well.
