The Moonshine beach area, has been calling me for some time, I knew it would be crazy on monday, so I waited until the afternoon in the hope of less traffic.

By 2:30 it wasn't too bad, but I still had trouble finding a bite, it must be a morning thing, I left just after dark, it was a really nice evening.

I did find a square bill hanging in the brush, it might help off set the cost of fuel by $5 or so๐Ÿ˜

Dan, you are a glutton for punishment.ย  Unless you are A-Mart, the bite at the dam is getting pretty good, but its from 5 to 9 in the morning.ย  After that have breakfast and do yard work or play golf, cause its is all but OVER FOR US COMMON MORTALS.

dan one of your guardian ๐Ÿ˜‡ย  hung that lure there so you would find it, tie it on, and fish it.ย  Did you?

One slow day I found a pink wiggle wart hanging in a bush.ย Immediately tied it on and caught the snot out of bass with it.ย  The fish spirits are always watching ๐Ÿ˜‰

No, but years ago floating the James river, above Galena, I looked down and happened to see a white fishing rod on the bottom in about 2ft of water. I got it out it had a silver rooster tail tied on, before I got to Galena I boated 26 white bass with it.ย

It was a brand new rod, not real expensive but it worked, back the we ran that river in an old richline aluminum boat, with some sort of small out board that we used an eight penny nail for a prop shear pin.ย  I knew nothing of boat or trailer registration back then. I am unsure if I even bought a fishing license??

Those were the days.๐Ÿ˜ƒย
