snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Sitting out a thunderstorm right now on the river. Real dark except the lightening😀
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Thunderstorms are back filling out on me👎 Mitch f 1
Bushbeater Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I'm just a half hour from Richland, I could go and check it out if need be. I'm still in.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 This is all you need. Current 2 day graphs. Hazelgreen on the nade and Sullivan on the Meramec. I can verify the Sullivan for today.
slothman Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 We’ll have to see what is going on. I’ve gotten a reluctant green light from the wife to go camping/fishing and I don’t plan to waste it. I need to get on a river, lake, trout park, something. fishinwrench, Bushbeater and snagged in outlet 3 3
TroutRinger Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 I just talked to a family that went floating on the Gasconade. They didn’t know the name of the access but they were coming from LOTO and said it was right off 44. They said the river was fast but not bad at all. "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." "There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."
Al Agnew Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Gasconade only came up very slightly at Hazelgreen and Jerome. If we don't get a bunch more rain tomorrow and Monday, it should be good. Meramec came up about two feet at Sullivan but only a few inches at Steelville, and not much at all on the upper end, so it should be fishable as well by Thursday-Friday. I think we could still do Gasconade. If not, I'm gonna be somewhere.
fishinwrench Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Just pulled up the radar, and Good Grief! Has this not been the wettest Early Summer in 30 years? It seems that we haven't had 3 straight days without a substantial rainfall since late March. The Gasconade basin might be spared tonight, but it probably won't be spared tomorrow. slothman 1

We, in KC, are getting hammered again. I just saw this thread and wanted to try and make it, but I think I'll save this hall pass and take the yak to a small stream in a couple weeks for some smallie therapy. I hope to get on the Piney or Gasconade later this summer when things have settled down a bit. Andy
