Spooned up 2 walleye right at noon in 15ft of water. Number 2 came unbuttoned on the lift (dumb move) looked to be about the same length.

If you know this bank that is the spot.😁

Binks 1/2 oz silver.

These are my 1st Walleye from Beaver lake.

Going again in the morning😁

Nice! ....wintertime deep spooning is effective as well, also a little pinch of a crawler on the hook will double you eye catch

Dan you are becoming quite the travelling walleye guy. Congrats on catching them in Beaver! Good luck today. Can't wait to see you holding some southeast MO river walleye!

That picture is really great.  I love the color of that water. The rocks are neat as well.

I don’t think you should deep spoon walleye more than 30 feet at most. What do you do when the bladder is in their throat and they are 17 “. Throw them back and chance of living slim.

He has a point. You can tell what is a keeper or not almost immediately for most fish. If you can't be sure, then decide immediately to not keep. Release them as quick as you can at the water line. If you insist on measuring, and they do not, learn how to fizz them.

The inflated bladder problems are a factor of depth and time at shallow depths.

BTW, my personal cutoff foe those "rules" is more than 35 feet.
