Found this lake on the internet, It looked good,,,Put my bass boat in & after an hour or so fishing, Had a very large Cotton mouth swim up to the side of the boat,,,I hit him with my rod tip, He went down,,I thought he had swam away, Until my wife, Who was fishing in the back seat started screaming,,,,He came up next to the outboard, he was wrapped around the gas line, As my wife ran to the front of the boat, I went to the back,I started beating him with my rod, He just kept coming up, His whole body was out of the water, The wife yelled "SHOOT HIM", I remembered the 380 auto I carry,,As I pulled it out I see he is laying against my new 70 hp Yamaha outboard, I didn't want to hit my outboard, so I pulled a little off of him,,Shot one time,,,Didn't seem to bother him, So I pulled in a little closer and the second shot took a chunk out of him, he let go & swam off,,,,It only took me a few min. to get back to the ramp & load my boat,,,And on the way back saw another one swimming out toward the boat,,,,I don't think I will ever fish this lake again.......

You don't Wrench in the boat with that motor.  He'd shoot the motor first.:D

If it was a mercury I would say it would be in danger.  If it was a Evinrude he might shoot it, but then say bring it by the shop I have enough parts to fix it.

I've got the pellet gun.  What kind of scope and mount are you using?

It's just a 1" 2x Centerpoint pistol scope.  ($50.00) and some 11mm UTG mounts.

It's definitely Snake Head Accurate if I can find something to rest it against.  My off-hand pistol shooting skills are pathetic.
