You get extra points for catching them on a Block Head Popper.

His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974

@Greasy B

😁 Do you use these?

The blockhead popper (Tim Holschlag's version, plus rubber legs) has been a very effective fly (for me) in catching big largemouth and smallmouth bass for a number of years.  Howitzer Poppers have been very good as well for Largemouths.

That's a nice bucketmouth! Congrats! That bass could have eaten all three of the Iowa bass that I have caught all at once😌.

From the blue tees?

I'm not sure what this means...are you asking if this is caught from a golf course pond?   😎

That would be a good guess, based on the mowed bluegrass in the background.  Close! This fish was caught in a public pond at a city park.
