What is this on 95 Johnson 150

Identify this part help

this is the only unpainted part on the motor. What is this for ? Does something go here-something missing ? Thanks in advance...

It is a LIFT RING.   You also have a loop cast into the block on the starboard rear. You hook this here chain to it 

And that's how you pull a 60° looper powerhead, or lift a 60° looper motor with a hoist.

I grew up working at a schwinn shop.  I put together 100’s of bikes and repaired hundreds more. Don’t move my tools!

Since I can't find a helper that I can be happy with, I'm the only one that touches tools around here.   So if something comes up missing I immediately know who to blame. 🤔
