MOPanfisher Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Last time I tried to get them to carry all the way to my truck, but they wouldn't do it.
fishinwrench Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I was in WM last night and noticed that the black powder guns were out on open racks just like the fishing poles. But the single shot shotguns, and even AIRGUNS were locked up behind glass. How does that make any sense?
jdmidwest Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Even a felon can own a black powder firearm. Not considered a weapon. I was in Wally last night to buy some feared handgun ammo to feed my short barrelled black handgun AR. They still have plenty and should until they deplete all their warehouses. I made conversation with the gun clerk, asked him about the Henry Rifles he had behind him on display. What Caliber?? UH, 44, 357, and 45 colt, all handgun cartridges in a rifle designed to hunt with. HMM, gonna have guns with no bullets to sell? Did not think that out very well. Several 223 bolt action rifles on the shelves. If you follow the logic, they will soon stop selling Cellphones. Stupid people misuse them every day and kill people. Prescription Opioids will be off the table in the pharmacy, people sell those and deaths occur. Sodas and other sugary foods will be off the shelves, people are killing themselves with obesity and Wally is full of the waddlers and scooters full of them also. When they quit selling all of that stuff, we will all be safer. fishinwrench, tho1mas and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. oneshot Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 My wife has to carry at work and is to all the time. Thing is if we are called out she is my Boss and sends me in, while she waits outside. What is funny she really don't care what I sleep with but finds it strange. There is a reason we have Cameras, Motion Lights and Alarms around our house. Woke up before having a Shotgun pointed at me. I didn't care for it. oneshot

Meanwhile I am carrying my handgun and spare mag in my waistband. Kinda redundant. At least they feel safe. I was working as a Meat Cutter, hundreds of Knives. They found I was carrying a 3 inch Sheath Knife. Was called to the office telling me I couldn't have that weapon in there. LOL oneshot

Haris122 Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I'm kind of bummed out about it. I've been discussing it with people at a gun forum I'm on too. I really liked that they carried it. Apart from the rare real sale at 1 or 2 of the smaller sporting goods stores, none of them that I frequent, ever really had any prices as good as walmart does every day on 9mm and the like. The type of 9mm ammo I get I essentially could only get for as cheap as walmart sells it in even small quantities, if I bought me a 1000 round bulk order online instead. I know in some walmarts they had this rule that they wouldn't sell handgun ammo after 8pm or something, which sucked but I could at least understand a little. And the whole walking people to the register and such after 8pm even in some of the other stores, doesn't really bother me. But completely stopping to sell it sucks. I imagine most smaller stores within a few months, will jump at the opportunity to jack the prices up even more, since they don't have walmart to compete with anymore. At the same time dumbasses like the retard in Springfield really didn't help my cause either. I don't know what he expected was going to happen by doing that ignorant monkey dodo, especially that shortly after what happened in Texas. I'm pro gun but even then, I don't really consider it too unreasonable of a request to not open carry in their store.
fishinwrench Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I couldn't care less, but if WM was truly doing it to PROTECT US then they should have stopped selling it IMMEDIATELY, instead of waiting until their current stock was sold out. That right there tells you that it's the money (profit) that takes priority. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
