BilletHead Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Well two down and two more in the E-tank, Thought they turned out nice being the age of them. The Gem Pan circa 1850s to real early 1900s. The SBL Griswold is an early handle style. Circa 1939-1944. The more these get used the more carbon will form turning them black. A batch of gems in next few days. BilletHead Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Two more finished up! The Corn Bread Pan, Lodge dutch oven lid. Some darker spots where some rust was on top. The whole lid will darken with use and it will eventually blend in. semble Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 I picked up a new size 8 lodge skillet the other day for a song. For the price I figured it would work great as a dedicated camp skillet. I compared it to an older lodge I have and it is over 5 oz. lighter. @BilletHead I'm curious, what do some of your early size 8s weigh? Johnsfolly 1

Johnsfolly Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Finally finished refurbishing my small logo Griswold #8 skillet. Can't wait to get back to using this skillet again. Went looking for some new (old ) iron this weekend and just didn't see any that interested me. I am working on a possible Birmingham Stove #8 G that I picked up last time we were in MO. More to come on that one . Terrierman and BilletHead 2
