The cancer wont care what you eat, or if you smoke, or drink. It is what it is. Live it up! You gotta die from something. The radiation and chemo will probably kill you before your diet does.

Baby brother has had cancer 25+ years, full chemo 9 times and I guess at least that many surgeries, so you can't be sure it's going to kill you right off.

That said, at some point in anyone's life, bad habits have reduced potential to harm.

They are not wanting certain things showing up like seeds. Before treatment want no poop and bladder full.

Got to go 70 miles one way every day for 8 weeks.

My wife was to be in St. Louis but she is canceling because she says some things are more important.

Piss on that.  If I felt good enough to travel 140 miles a day for 2 months straight then I wouldn't need treatment because I'd be feeling better than I have felt for 35 years.

I have an anxiety attack if I have to go 12 miles to the grocery store more than twice a month.

Chemo halts cell production.  As the lining of your throat, esophagus and digestive track breaks down I would avoid spice.  You’ll know it when you see it.

Yes you will, and it will be many years before you can enjoy them again.

But, sometimes you live thru it.

My best advice, listen to the doc and follow his instructions.  He has the training to get you thru it.  And they can get you thru it.

But, when all is said and done, we all will have to die.  You have a great chance of getting killed in a car wreck driving to the treatments that far each day in the traffic.
