I mix all my own seed and I feed in the morning and they eat it all and then the crazy deer don't get to munch hahahaha I feed all the animals in my yard screw the MDC and enjoy all of them especially all the Barred Owls and Great Horned Owl couple I know what is in your backyard remember ? Those are some great videos, thanks for sharing. The only place I've ever seen a Tom do his courtship display is from Shannon's back window when she was in your same area and leasing a home there. We haven't seen even a Turkey in our area for over two years now and it's become very uncommon to hear a Gobbler in the Spring anymore. Happy to report that after reading Bill's description of the Pileated flock I belatedly put out my suet feeder ( just like the one shown in Bill's photo ), but some smart-posterior Crows figured out how to pull the hanging-chain apart and knocked it to the ground twice where they could attack it. Before then I had the surprise of a Pileated feeding on it just 48 hours after putting it up. Due to Mr. Crow, I resurrected my old wooden, "upside-down" suet feeder yesterday and saw two Pileated's arguing over it this morning. Meanwhile the neighborhood is taking turns feeding the two resident ducks down at the Marina. snagged in outlet 3 and Smalliebigs 2

It's one of the best things we ever bought. If you get tired of cleaning-up the sunflower shells, Tractor Supply sells Sunflower hearts that eliminates 97% of the mess underneath the feeder. No shells, almost no mess and yes, it's more expensive per pound but you're not paying for the weight of the Sunflower shells or husks and it goes a lot further. Daryk Campbell Sr and magicwormman 2

Fish24/7 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Saw some Robins yesterday, but none today🤔. Cardinals everywhere you look. Saw 4 males and 2 females in the same red bud tree. Now if I can just keep the pack of coyotes away ,those things are getting too close to the house for comfort. Night before last they were right outside the back door . When they started making noise startled me and about fell out of my chair they were so close! Ran to the door and out onto the deck. Had my spot light, counted 6 before they hit the woods. For sure more than that. They only come around when it's above 40° after dark, they have a schedule, around 9-9:30 every time. I have a air horn handy too. They never make a peep after hearing that 😄 Surprised they even come around. We have street lamps, motion lights, and there must be 20 dogs in my neighborhood. We don't burn trash,or have a scrap pile. There's no reason I can think of why they always come here to our yard. Unless the neighbors have trash or something idk.

I heard during breeding season they are attracted to dogs. Fish24/7 1
Fish24/7 Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Well that could be it. Not a sound from them last night. They must have stayed home to watch Mahomes.
