There are so many things to consider when trying to catch fish. I hear people say it’s all about time on the water. I disagree with that. There are a lot of people who’ve spent more time on the water than Jacob and Bryan, but they don’t end up in the top ten consistently like these two do. 
I read once that Thrift studies hard before a tournament on what has been catching fish at the lake, then he does the exact opposite. I really believe you have to think outside the box.

There's some truth to that, but if the other guy has the stuff to find them and you don't, you're going to be at a disadvantage.  If this Livescope is as good as advertised, not only can you find the fish, but you can find the right fish.  Garmin has to be loving this.

I wish you hadn't said that. I have been trying to avoid the reality of that. But everyone that I have met that has one. Just is absolutely thrilled with it. Right now I am trying to talk the misses into a boat upgrade. If that fails, the live scope could be a consultation  prize. lol

You:  "Well I could probably get by if I just had one of those Livescope things."  (Said while shedding a few fake tears).

Just buy it and put it on the boat.  I've always kept a little stash csh hidden away.  Started doing that when I gambled on the golf course all the time.

mitch, just as with anything, time on the water does not do a bit of good if you are not learning all the time while on the water.  there are those that put in the time, but are just going through the motions.

there are those that can read a book three times and still not tell you much about the book.  then you have those that can scan through the same book, and be 80% accurate about what the book was about.

jacob wheeler is way ahead of the curve.  everyone else had better buckle down and learn to utilize the great tools that are now available.

maybe, we need to have tournaments where you can only use a flasher.
