Civil war skirmish or camp near Montauk--any info?

I own the Inman Hollow property now. I have a small cabin on the property that will be available soon on Airbnb.  Thanks to those of you that provided historical info.

I'm the grandson of Mr. W, his name was Harry Williams and he sadly had to sell it because he had a massive stroke in 2009. He died in April of this year and my grandmother spread his ashes there. Feel free to ask me any questions about that farm and I will answer to the best of my abilities/memory.
