Skeeter ZX190 Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Took a trip to Spring Creek to get out on this beautiful day. My first time to fish this creek. I went to the end of the MDC access road off of J Highway and worked upstream from there. I only caught 7 but one of them was definitely my PB for a wild trout. It bit a #16 beadheaded prince nymph. At least 18 inches long. kjackson, bkbying89, Greasy B and 7 others 10
Al Agnew Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Beautiful fish! There is just no comparison between a wild trout and a stocker. JestersHK 1

Dutch Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Ok just wondering. I have a farm in Stone County. Spring Creek runs along the east side of it and also has trout.
JestersHK Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 That's a giant for that little section of steam. Congrats on a beautiful fish. Love those fins. Johnsfolly 1
Gavin Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Nice one! Love those white tipped fins. Not much access on this one. The Danforth family owns most of that valley.
