Well I am eyeballing people a little more closely in the store and I will wait for someone to get out of the way if they are front of something I want, basically I avoid getting close to anyone.  I also keep my trips to the store at a minimum.

Me too.  Down to once a week and I'll go two isle over to avoid anyone.  Another thing I do is get a plastic bag from the produce department and put it on the hand I use to pick stuff.  I use it on the self checkout and throw it away in the can outside the store.

Me three I will find an empty isle and if I have to pace back and forth looking for one I do. Still not positive in our county. The Mrs. said several tests out of the clinic she works in. So fal all negative results.

Just got back from my weekly trip to Wally World....

However still no TP or hand sanitizer.

I went there for gas last Saturday, having already given up on TP. On the way to the pumps I saw 2 carts with TP, so, expecting to be disappointed again, I parked and trotted in one more time. The guy was putting the last of several cartons on the rack (most already gone), and I scored a 12-pack of Charmin!

Never in my life would I have expected to be so happy about something as seemingly trivial as TP. When I was a little farm kid in No. Mo., we still used an outhouse, and I couldn't wait till the latest Sears Roebuck catalog came in the mail so we'd have a new batch of thin paper pages... those slick, shiny pages really sucked!

I can't dance like I used to.

Do you all find yourself holding your breath walking by people? Hey I do. Only wish I could hold it as I go into the store and exhale when I get to me truck in parking lot! 🤪

Yes. Especially when I pass folks in the hallways here at work.

I bet! I am using latex gloves at the gas station too.  I feel for everyone but especially the health care workers such as my Mrs. It makes me sick when she leaves for work.

I keep a pair of plain old jersey gloves in the truck to use fueling.  When I get home they get a fresh hosing with lysol for nest time.  The masks, wearing one may not be perfect but it won't hurt for sure.  Oddly I only have a couple cheap ones, but I do have one of those sun buffs I could use if I can find it.

I was just thinking today it's been forever since I got gas. Looked at it -- ½ tank. I'm usually 1-½ to 2 tanks a week.

I never use cash, debit card or checks. I use bill pay for mail in bills like utilities. My Discover card gets everything else. Looked at my Discover balance today was actually a little shocked. It's about 1/4th of normal. No gas, no eating out, no entertainment, not much at the grocery store, none of the little extras we do around town.

It's kinda sad to think of all the little businesses that are just getting crushed. And it doesn't stop with the little guys. I think we're in for a long, painful downturn.

I agree fully. Our outgoing payments is much less. Good thing / bad thing. This will get worse before better.

I have had the same $40 in my wallet for the last three weeks. That just means that there has been no bait or lures being purchased or convenience store drinks, etc.. We were trying to get some food using their curbside pickup for the local restaurant that we frequented BC (before COVID), but that was before the stay at home order here in MD.

Some of the unique local mom-and-pop restaurants will surely throw in the towel and be gone forever. That's gonna suck.
