Dutch Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I had to go to Stone Co today so I decided to run by Cape Fair. The first lot was full. The new lot above it was full. Many of the marina sites were taken. The west lot and any wide spot around it were taken. There must have been 30 trucks and trailers at the ramp next to Flat Creek Restaurant. I’ve never seen so many units in my life around there. We also must have met at least 20 boats between Cape Fair and Elsie. It dtrs5kprs 1

Quillback Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I talked to somebody that said the Eagle Rock lot had a BUNCH of rigs.
Quillback Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Once it gets warm enough for the wake boats and all the other water lice, it could get ugly out there. This may be the year I take up basket weaving. big c, crazy4fishin and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
Basfis Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Mill Creek was over full. My son and I launched at sunrise. Appeared there was an impromptu tournament happening. This based off 15-20 guys standing around with boats still on the trailer. All of them ignoring social distancing and group size orders. it’s things like that which will lead to lake or ramp closure. I’m somewhere between disappointment and PO’d. thankfully marina gas shouldn’t be an option for the freshwater plows. snagged in outlet 3, mixermarkb, Golf Pro and 1 other 3 1

That’s exactly what happened in other states boat ramps and our local parks up here in st.louis area. Crowds started gathering so they shut them down. mixermarkb and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
tjm Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Every thing that they close just makes the crowds bigger some place else. Best put those people back to work.
