I don't care what cor or hue their skin might be, or whether they are XX or XY or some extra Chromosome.  I do get tired of pure politicians and lawyers, and the ridiculous promises they make, as most of the rouses can be pushed, championed, tweeted about and splashed all across social media, a President simply doesn't ha e the power and authority to do most of them, it requires action  in the form of bills from the House and Senate and then combined AND in a format that doesn't I clue some bizarre cra added so that a President can sign it into law, or if they x goose to veto it, I do appreciate it when a President actually veto something rather than simply use a pocket veto and let it die with a veto or signature.  There are aome things a president can do, but by and large I am not a supporter of Executive Orders, laws shuld come through the process and then congressmen can live/die politically on what they actually support.  I would love to see a line item veto as well so a President could theoretically line out portions that are tacked on to get support from a particular senator or Rep regardless of political affiliation and send it back to Congress to force them to stand on the particular issues.  And while I will never see it happen things like term limits (12 years maybe) a set amount of pension, and a requirement for all 3 branches to disclose financial statements (which govt employees who are involved with contracts, purchasing and approvals are required to do)  if your personal fortune grows by 1000% in a year it should be shown why not necessarily to the general public but to a watchdog agency or something.  There are a lot of laws and rules that apply to govt employees and military, think they should apply to elected officials equally.  Ans while I am at it I think that while in elected office they should absolutely be able to go to a "special health location" say Bethesda or may VA to get treatment without cost, BUT when term is up they go to the very same options that we all have, buy insurance on the open market just like everyone else.  There I have slipped off of my soapbox and will set back down in my recliner with an adult beverage and be quiet, maybe.  I fully realize that it is a very complex situation, but nothing will change if it doesn't start, even small steps.

I think it took 3 months to heat up the furnaces.  A steel mill is an impressive operation to experience.

Just need to get a dragon like Smaug, and a couple of cheeky Dwarves to piss it off!.. Badda Bing Badda Boom!

Oh wait..  Nevermind .. A MAGIC Wand was all that was needed!

My great grandfather was a crucible operator at a mill in Pittsburgh. Story was that he had been there  a long time and that they lost his original paperwork. When asked when he was going to retire the answer was I've  got a couple of years to go. They figured he had to had been 13 or 14 years old for him to not be at the age of retirement. He was close to 70 years old when they forced him to retire. We loved going to his house as kids. He didn't  trust banks so hid money all over the house 😁!

Our purchaser and de facto metallurgist is from PA.  He worked in the mill since he was a teenager.  There’s just something about it I can’t explain.

The falls are drainage from the Cedar Swamps.. Water looks like Segrams Seven.. The falls have foam 20' thick

We brought in German interlocks for the gilboa dam a few years ago.  They came though the Great Lakes seaway.  It’s a giant pipe pile wall dam.

When I worked for GM we went to the sault in January.  We had to wait for the bridge to open because of 60 mph wind.  When allowed to cross we stopped at the peak and got out of the car.   Frozen rock solid and brutal cold.  The only place open up was the casino.  Norwegian girls and offshore fishermen made the table games interesting.  😁

Been escorted across that bridge with a lead vehicle in the winter.. Water was spraying the side of the vehicles and rocking and rolling... for those that never been on that bridge... its way up there and to have water spray hit you tells you all you need to know!

I think the bridge deck is a sort of steel grid so when cars drive on it the tires push the snow through it.  You are literally driving on a bbq grill.
