Atkins and keto taught me that.... and if you can watch sugar... Alcohol sugars are just passed through the body... Not the greatest sweeteners but will do.. Worst thing is I like bread and that is a big no no... Just have to treat bread/carbs as a cheat night meal... dont want the body to normalize processing carbs... Piles the weight back on fast

 

Always have deli turkey in the fridge... Best thing ever to eat when you got the munchies.... you can even slather it with Mustard, or mayo.... I do this three times a day.. Love it.. Wrap it in lettus and you have an awesome snack

I'm not keto but real low carb and fast 17/7.  Less than 50 grams per day.  Bread is what I miss most.  I cheat once a week  Almost always pizza!!

I had a donut on March 22nd.  Before that is was a cookie on valentines day.   I did it because I was getting high blood sugar levels in the pre diabetic area.  Took 3 months and my levels are normal.  I'm apparently highly carb sensitive in my old age.  Whatever.  Better than the T2D.

I was pre diabetic too.  But not anymore.  I think it might be age related too.  Was always normal until just lately.

We use the Caseys app and the breakfast Pizza was what my Youngest wanted was free.. He's 6'4" and can eat a lot.. the pepperoni everyone loves/ My favorite is black olive and onion... Dont mind mixing that with pepperoni or sausage etc.. but just seem to really like the cheese Olive and onion combo... killed my diet tonight...

 

All three pizza's were $18.97 (running a special 2 x 1 one topping large pizza for 7.99) will be leftover for three days at least... For me personally I have learned that if I want the carbs, get them at breakfast.. I mange to keep the weight in check that way... been holding steady for close to 12 months now.

I don’t eat until 1pm, Quit at 8pm.  Two meals per day. 12-15 grams of carbs at lunch.  Mostly vegetables. That way I can have a couple beers and some whole crackers at dinner.  

I eat protein and fruit for breakfast.  
Often just skip lunch.

Then a reasonable dinner.  Tonight reasonable includes margarita.
