TR Lake Level going forward

Which one got Taney the highest? 15-16 or 17? The Taney peak got about 3' of water in my business and fishing partner's parents house in Branson, just down the street from Scotty's. I'm hoping they stay dry this time.

You are right, the auxiliary spillway can only be used to save  Table Rock Dam.  The models for flooding show, that this is really only possible with a break or over topping at Beaver Dam in conjunction with massive, epic flooding event.  The Hydraulic Models show that at full flood gates open on Table Rock Dam, that water would be 50 ft over the 65 highway bridge on Taneycomo.  Yes, 50 ft over the highway 65 bridge.  So, by the time auxiliary spillway was used, most of the infrastructure around Taney is already wiped out.  In  2008 and 2011 I happen to set in on several briefings and I believe I remember the release out of the rock only being at 12% capacity of the Dam.  In 2008 and 2011 the structural integrity of the earth  or concrete  dam was never in any risk of failure.

15-16 was the highest for Taney

Looks like BV, TR and BS - none will reach their flood pool level so no releases at this time.  NF is releasing but not much, just enough to keep it below the FP mark.

For some macabre reason I used to really enjoy attending those Emergency Management briefings during big floods.

Might have something to do with my innate ability to cause big floods I guess.

I was told by a resort operator that the magic. Number For BSL is 694.2. The flood gates will be opened then regardless of downstream.

norfork is being attended to first. If they get it down some, then they will slow that and release from BSL. The hope is they will keep and and all releases from BSL under 36,000 CFS. 😱

If that is the case it's only about 6-8 inches to go and they are releasing 2800 cfs right now.. 693.59
