That is where I got the idea.  I couldn’t see paying their price plus I wanted more hook and size options.

So I’m looking at your jig and receiving these adds....😂 Sorry I got distracted a little. Is this post about a jig? 😂

Ive used these and the little wires break off way to easy,

That is why I am into several revisions.  Drilling with my smallest bit and putting the stainless steel wires in with Gorilla epoxy.  It did not hold very long.  I switched to JBWeld marine epoxy.  It held better but no more than a few hours.  So now I am using only 1 wire, through over and back.  It can’t fall out now.  I have also switched from a drill bit to a finish nail because my lead contains antimony and is quite hard and I keep breaking bits off in the jigs.

Why don’t you just use the method you taught me about C-Clamping the molds with the wires inside? I would think you really don’t need the wires separated at the base. You can use 135 pound brown mason 7 strand wire and just bend them to the correct location. No need to drill an oversized hole with wobble and pray that the epoxy will hold. Just pour it like any other jig with the wires in the mold ahead of time.

Other option is to drill a hole in the cavity, and run the guard out the side of the mold. Sounds nuts, but it works.

Sounds like that may be a winning recipe
