Members watermen2 Posted August 2, 2020 Members Posted August 2, 2020 In the 80's I had a 1949 Thompson 15 ft cedar strip without a bubble in the canvas and a small rot spot on the end of one rib. The original 7.5 1949 evinrude ran like a top. I had the best looking ride on the Menominee river for a couple years. My mother and father traded it for an antique piece of furniture when I was in college. I was ticked at the time. I miss that boat, it was a work of art and craftsmanship. I also owned a cedar strip Hoefgen that was an attempt by the company to branch out. Just too delicate and got tired of beating it up loading and unloading it. The rest are iterations of technology. He told his Mom I was crazy and if something happen to me they would never find me. I went hunting this morning and asked if there was anyway finding me? I tend to get turned around. Usually have a GPS, I had OnX today and found it didn't work because I didn't have Phone Signal. My other one works using Satellites. oneshot

Plus I can’t hear. I fell cutting wood. Didn’t want to catch myself with my bad arm so I just fell . Now my arm comes to the front, I just take my good arm and shove it back right. I have fell in the Lake and my wife pulled me out. First fish I caught this year was setting in a chair on the bank, was messing with the fish, fell on my Tackle Box. A guy helped me. After that I take my cane and a net. I’ve left my Pickup running for 4 hours. It is more dangerous me leaving fire going on the stove. oneshot
