snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Last week I saw a guy chumming his spiot with a 50 pound bag of corn while I was out riding my bike. is it wrong to poach his Spot or even cut him off before he gets there and take it? I didn’t but dang he did the work and I could walk right in. Public lake btw.

Terrierman Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Get in there. Not wrong. Hell, he's probably in quarantine by now. No point in wasting a good bag of corn. But. Use 4 lb test and a 4' UL uglystik.
Dutch Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 I didn’t plant all of the brush piles that i fish.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 14, 2020 Author Posted August 14, 2020 That’s what I thought. Maybe he gets sick and doesn’t get come back to fish. It would be an awful waste Terrierman 1

It would be an awful waste Plus if you wind up in the same spot at the same time, you get to meet a new fishing buddy. One who's not afraid to put in a little work and a few $$ for a fun spot. Those are my kind of guys. There's just no downside here. So long as you use light tackle. Just sayin'.
Quillback Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Corn fed carp - they have to be good to eat right? Make sure you keep one, put it on the grill and let us know how it turns out, I bet it's yummy! And I agree with Rick, 4# test maximum. And of course pics. Terrierman and BilletHead 1 1
