The rushes at McDonald's and KFC would start riots. Ever see a food court at the mall on a Saturday at around noon? snagged in outlet 3 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
oneshot 1 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 One time I was fishing Lamine River for Catfish. Guy was getting ready to put Lines out. I told him he might as well forget it the bite is over the river is going down. Seen him week later he said he wished he had listen to me because they didn't catch a fish one. Thing is go when you can and hope for the best. oneshot

It's interesting stuff, and after all these years of chasing fish I am just now becoming convinced that probably all species have a way of communicating with each other, either via sounds, pulses, electricity, or telepathy. It's just undeniably obvious and it explains alot. I mean, they didn't evolve ears and lateral line signal receptors just so they could detect motorboats, trolling motors, transducers, and worm rattles. And channel cat don't croak, and drum don't drum, just for our entertainment. But I still don't think the "Hydro-Wave" is a worthwhile investment.
tjm Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I don't try to interpret coyote talk either when trapping them, but I know they communicate and join forces when hunting. Most, or maybe all animals also use visual communication like the white flag a deer waves. There is an ocean fish that tells octopus where a prey fish is hidden, so they can share the feast. Once we accept that fish may communicate, we may come to realize that the fish we call game fish are the dummies of the fish world that fail to warn others. fishinwrench and trythisonemv 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 @fishinwrench made me change plans this morning to try and catch a few whites. I stumbled across them in the past so I went back to a spot where I’ve caught them before. I caught a bunch of little ones and had a decent 15 or so inches on but the hook pulled when I lifted it. One largemouth mixed in too. Greasy B and fishinwrench 2

Stay after them! River. You had to bring it up so of course I have to try again. Watched this dude park his jet boat on a gravel bar in the middle of the river going about 30 mph😁 fishinwrench 1
fishinwrench Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 Looks like they might be there for a minute or three. 😅 Tomorrow she'll be telling her friends what a dipshit her ol'man is.

It was literally a 10 foot wide patch of gravel in the middle of the river and he could’ve gone anywhere else and went right around it. I offered to help them push it out but they got it
