Well that's a given 👍 I've always found fish and wildlife easier to pattern in the afternoon/evenings. And although I did hunt both mornings and evenings when I was big into it, the morning hunts were a waste of time more often than not. Except for turkeys....Turkey hunts are definitely a morning thing.

Late season it goes back to evenings.

Careful on this section of the forum. You might get the archery itch, like you did the airgun bug. But if you do, we can make more bro dates. Daryk Campbell Sr 1 TinBoats BassClub. When the tornado ate all of my archery stuff, and insurance paid for it handsomely, I decided not to replace any of it. 3D shoots were winding down to where nobody was having them anymore, and I was tired of chasing the whitetails around here. I'd rather fish while everyone else is hunting. snagged in outlet 3 1

That was my 3D bow. An original Golden Eagle laminate limb round wheel that was the smoothest shooting bow I've ever pulled. Indoor leagues and when I wanted to show off. And A Hoyt Raider with overdraw that was my wood chopping, behind the seat beater, that never let me down. Always sighted in with broadheads. I get the itch occasionally, but it passes. Had a blast this afternoon shooting persimmons off the tree in the front yard with the P-rod. 2 knives and a spoon....if you're wondering. 😊 Ketchup 1
fishinwrench Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I do still have my release. FreeFlight wrist strap. I bet they don't even make them anymore.
Ketchup Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 We need to get together and shoot some small lead still. That tree plinking sounds fun Doubtful. That things as old as yo...aww nevermind. Those Oneida bows warped into killer bow fishing bows. Shot my Bowtech Realm today. Kinda special bow to me for sentimental reasons. Usually shoot my Hoyt Carbon. Took this picture today while at the shoot. fishinwrench, nomolites, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Ketchup Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Yes sir. there were some traditional guys there shooting feathers, but these new bows shoot so fast, the feathers would just fly off the shaft. 😜 fishinwrench and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 TinBoats BassClub.
