Fewer and fewer down to no buck sightings. Just young deer and some older does. Finally dropped a young doe for the freezer. General gun season starts tomorrow out here in Maryland. We can bow hunt thru the gun season. Maybe the neighbors will push some out our way.

I always think that I should be out on the public lands trying to get a hunt for other deer than the backyard deer. If you want to cast stones go ahead. But there is always so much activity out back that it is hard to try and fill the freezer elsewhere.  

Why waste the drive I say.  I think it’s cool you have a little plot to hunt right out back.  I have tons of game but the neighbors wouldn’t be hip to a deer running by their kitchen window with an arrow in the pump station😂
