Not surprised, but definitely happy. They had one really close call. I was a bit surprised about that hickey they put on the Ravens. Thought that would be a tough game. Last night wasn't super pretty either, but pretty enough on the scoreboard. Dutch Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 You are correct.  It was butt ugly but still a W.
DADAKOTA Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Chiefs seem to play to their opponents level. Belicheck's defense held the offense in check for the most part. If Cam was playing it could easily have been a loss for the Chiefs. They need to develop an attitude where they try to dominate other teams on both sides of the ball. Packers offense looked much better than the Chiefs offense last night and they were missing their top 2 receivers. ollie Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 It's hard to hang with Chiefs for four quarters! Seems like they just sit back and wait and then decide to start doing something on offense. lol If anyone caught the half time report they were really hoping the patriots would take this one or so it seemed like. Then they changed their tune towards the end of the game. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

Packers weren't playing the Chiefs. Our Defense carried the Chiefs last night. How long has it been since anyone said that about a Chiefs game? Even without Chris Jones, who I hope is back real soon. Mahomes is still the best QB in the league though. Which is a good thing if you're a Chiefs fan. Especially a long suffering one like me.
DADAKOTA Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Chiefs defense was handed several opportunities for turnovers quite literally. Inept quarterbacking for the Patriots and bumbling receivers had nothing to do with the Chiefs defense although they did capitalize on the gifts. NE had several opportunities to turn the Chiefs over. Mahomes was not his usual self. I though the defense was better in the Ravens game as was Mahomes. The Honey Badger is starting to tackle like Deion Sanders.
