Al Agnew Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 Connery was perfectly cast as Bond...you'd almost think that Ian Fleming's James Bond books were written from the movies. Connery perfectly matched Fleming's description and characterization of Bond in the books. When Roger Moore took over the movies veered pretty sharply away from the books. I read most of Fleming's books before I ever saw a Bond movie, and when Connery moved on I never liked the movies as well.
Quillback Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 I wanted one of these Bond attache cases for Christmas when I was a kid. I thought the pistol with the scope was super cool, plus all the other neat features like a knife blade that popped out of the case. Dang cheap parents wouldn't buy me one. Looked around to see if any were for sale, not that I planned to buy one, just curious if they are out there. All I could find was the box and they wanted $69 for the box alone.
